Effects of Overexposure:SWALLOWING: NAUSEA, ABDOMINAL PAIN, VOMITING,
HEADACHE, DIZZINESS, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, WEAKNESS, FATIGUE, LEG
CRAMPS, RESTLESSNESS, CONFUSION, DRUKEN BEHAVIOR. INHALATION: MAY
CAUSE DIZZINESS, DROWSI NESS, PAINS IN ARM & HANDS. SKIN: MAY CAUSE
REDDENING. EYE: MAY CAUSE MILD REDNESS & SWELLING OF THE
CONJUNCTIVE.
Medical Cond Aggravated by Exposure:DUE TO THE DEFATTING PROPERTIES,
METHANOL MAY AGGRAVATE AN EXISTING SKIN CONDITION, .EG.EXZEMA. DUE
TO ITS LIVER AND KIDNEY-INJURING POTENTIAL, MAY EXCERBATE EXISTING
LIVER AND/OR KIDNEY DISEASE.

First Aid

First Aid:SWALLOWING-IF CONSCIOUS & HAS A GAG REFLEX, GIVE 2 GLASSES OF
WATER, INDUCE VOMITING. CALL A PHYSICIAN URGENTLY. GIVE ETHANOL
(WHISKEY, BRANDY, ETC) 30 ML EVERY 3 HRS. SKIN-REMOVE CLOTHING.
FLUSH SKIN WITH WATER. INHALATION-REMOVE TO FRESHAIR. PERFORM CPR,
IF NOT BREATHING. OXYGEN GIVE BY MEDICAL PERSONNEL IF HARD TO
BREATH. EYES-FLUSH WITH WATER FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. SEE PHYSICIAN.
