PPM CAN CAUSE ADVERSE EFFECTS ON VISUAL PERCEPTION & MOTOR SKILLS.
VENTRICULAR ARRHYTHMIAS & VER Y RAPID RESPIRATION HAVE BEEN
OBSERVED IN INDIVIDUALS EXPOSED TO 15,000 PPM. CAN CAUSE
UNCONSCIOUSNESS AND DEATH.
Explanation of Carcinogenicity:NOT CARCINOGENIC.
Effects of Overexposure:INHALATION-SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE ABOVE 100 PPM
INCLUDE HEADACHE, NAUSEA, VOMITING, DIZZINESS, VERTIGO, FATIGUE,
LIGHTHEADEDNESS AND COUGHING. SKIN-CAN CAUSE IRRITATION, DEFATTING
OF SKIN & DERMATITIS. EYES-CAN CAUSE PAIN & SLIGHT TEMPORARY
INJURY TO EYES. INGESTION-CAN CAUSE CHEMICAL PNEUMONIA & SYSTEMIC
EFFECTS.
Medical Cond Aggravated by Exposure:ALCOHOLISM, ACUTE AND CHRONIC
KIDNEY OR LIVER DISEASE, RHYTHM DISORDERS OF THE HEART AND NEURITIS
AND OTHER DISORDERS OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM.
First Aid
First Aid:INHALATION-REMOVE TO FRESH AIR. IF BREATHING HAS STOPPED,
GIVE ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATION. CALL PHYSICIAN. SKIN-REMOVE
CONTAMINATED CLOTHING/SHOES. WASH AREA THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP & WATER
FOR 15 MIN. EYE-F LUSH IMMEDIATELY WITH WATER FOR AT LEAST 15 MIN.
IF IRRITATION PERSISTS, CALL A PHYSICIAN. INGESTION-DO NOT INDUCE

Fire Fighting Procedures:FIREFIGHTERS SHOULD WEAR SELF-CONTAINED
POSITIVE PRESSURE BREATHING APPARATUS DUE TO THERMAL DECOMPOSITION
PRODUCTS, AND AVOID SKIN CONTACT.
Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazard:CONCENTRATED VAPORS CAN BE IGNITED BY
HIGH INTENSITY ENERGY SOURCE.
Accidental Release
Spill Release Procedures:EVACUATE THE AREA, VENTILATE, AND AVOID
BREATHING VAPORS. DIKE ARE TO CONTAIN SPILL. IF SPILL OCCURS
INDOORS, TURN OFF HEATING/AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. CLEAN UP AREA
(WEAR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT) BY MO PPING OR WITH ABSORBENT MATERIAL
& PLACE IN CAN.

EQUIPMENT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR STORGAE AND/OR TRANSFER. CONTACT
WITH ALUMINUM PARTS IN A PRESSURIZED FLUID SYSTEM MAY CAUSE VIOLENT
REACTION.
Exposure Controls
Respiratory Protection:WHERE VAPOR CONCENTRATION EXCEED OR IS LIKELY TO
EXCEED 50 PPM, ANIOSH APPROVED ORGANIC VAPOR TYPE RESPIRATOR IS
ACCEPTABLE. ANIOSH/MSHA APPROVED SELF-CONTAINED BREATHING APPARATUS
OR AIR LINE RESPIRA TOR, WITH FULL FACE PIECE.
Ventilation:DO NOT USE CLOSED OR CONFINED SPACE. OPEN DOORS AND/OR
WINDOWS. USE VENTILATION TO MAINTAIN EXPOSURE LEVELS BELOW 50 PPM
Protective Gloves:VITON, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL OR EQUIVALENT
Eye Protection:WEAR SAFETY GLASSES/CHEMICAL GOGGLES.
Other Protective Equipment:SOLVENT RESISTANT BOOTS, APRON, HEADGEAR
AND/OR FACE SHIELD SHOULD BE WORN WHERE SPLASHING IS POSSIBLE.
