PERFORM ARTIFICIAL RESPIRATION IF NEEDED. MAINTAIN AIRWAY, BLOOD
PRESSURE & RESPIRATION. KEEP WARM/AT REST. GET MEDICAL AID
IMMEDIATELY. SKIN -GET MEDICAL AID. IF FROSTBITE, FREEZING,
CRYOGENIC BURNS OCCUR. WARM AFFECTED AREA IN WARM WATER (107F).
GENTLY WRAP PARTS IN BLANKETS. ENCOURAGE EXERCISING AFFECTED PART
WHILE BEING WARMED. GET MED ICAL AID. EYE-WASH EYES IMMEDIATELY
WITH WATER, LIFTING EYE LIDS, UNTIL NO CHEMICAL REMAINS. GET
MEDICAL AID. INGESTION-INGESTION OF GAS IS UNLIKELY THAT EMERGENCY
TREATMENT IS REQUIRED. TREAT SYMPTOM ATICALLY/SUPPORTIVELY. GET
MEDICAL AID.
Fire Fighting

Fire Fighting Procedures:MOVE CONTAINER FM FIRE IF WITHOUT RISK, APPLY
COOLING WATER TO SIDES OF CONTAINERS EXPOSED TO FLAMES UNTIL
WELLAFTER FIRE IS OUT. STAY AWAY FROM ENDS OF TANKS. WITHDRAW
IMMEDIATELY IF RISING SOUND FRO M VENTING SAFETY DEVICE OR
DISCOLORATION OF TANK DUE TO FIRE. MATLS IF SPILLED, MAY EVAPORATE
LEAVING FLAMMABLE RESIDUE.
Unusual Fire/Explosion Hazard:ISOLATE FOR 1/2 MILE IN ALL DIRECTIONS IF
TANK, FAIL CAR OR TANK TRUCK IS INVOLVED IN FIRE (1993 EMERGENCY
RESPONSE GUIDEBOOK, RSPA P 5800.6. GUIDE PAGE 12). NEGLIGIBLE FIRE
HAZARD WHEN EXPOSED TO HEA T OR FLAME. CONTAINER MAY EXPLODE IN
HEAT OF FIRE.
