LITHIUM ION HAVE CAUSED DIZZINESS & PROSTRATION & CAN CAUSE KIDNEY
DMG IF SODIUM INTAKE IS LIMITED. DEHYDRATION, WT LOSS,
DERMATOLOGICAL EFTS & THYROID DISTURBANCES HAVE BEEN REPORTED. CNS
EFTS THAT INCL SLURRED SPEECH, BLURRED VISION, SENSORY LOSS, ATAXIA
& CONVULSIONS MAY OCCUR. DIARR HEA, VOMITING & NEUROMUSCULAR EFTS
SUCH AS TREMOR, CLONUS & HYPERATICE REFLEXES MAY OCCUR AS RSLT OF
RPTD EXPOS TO LITHIUM ION. CYANOSIS & T-WAVE INVERSION HAVE
OCCURRED IN BREAST-FED INFANTS OF WOMEN RECEIVING LITHIUM

First Aid
First Aid:EYES: IN CASE OF CONTACT, IMMEDIATELY FLUSH EYES WITH COPIOUS
AMOUNTS OF WATER FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES. ASSURE ADEQUATE FLUSHING
OF EYES BY SEPARATING THE EYELIDS WITH FINGERS. SKIN: IN CASE OF
CONTAC T, IMMEDIATELY FLUSH SKIN WITH COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF WATER FOR
AT LEAST 15 MINUTES WHILE REMOVING CONTAMINATED CLOTHING AND SHOES.
INHALATION: IF INHALED, REMOVE TO FRESH AIR. IF NOT BREATHING GIVE
ARTIF ICIAL RESPIRATION. IF BREATHING IS DIFFICULT, GIVE OXYGEN.
INGESTION: WASH OUT MOUTH WITH WATER PROVIDED PERSON IS CONSCIOUS.
CALL A PHYSICIAN. WASH CONTAMINATED CLOTHING BEFORE REUSE.
