Explanation of Carcinogenicity:THIS PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN TESTED AS A
WHOLE FOR CARCINOGENICITY. IARC HAS LISTED CRYSTALLINE SILICA AS
GROUP 1 CARCINOGENIC TO HUMANS. NTP CLASSIFIES RESPIRABLE SILICA AS
CLASS 2. CARBON BLACK GP 2B ( IARC).
Effects of Overexposure:EYE: IRRITATION, REDNESS, BLURRED VISION.
SYMPTOMS OF SKIN IRRITATION MAY INCLUDE REDDENING, RASH SWELLING,
SCALING OR BLISTERING, DEFATTING, EXPOSURE TO SOLVENTS WITH
PERMANENT BRAIN AND NERVOUS SYST EM DAMAGE, LIVER AND KIDNEY
DAMAGE. ISOCANATE SENSITIZATION (CHEMICAL ASTHMA), SYMPTOMS COULD
BE IMMEDIATE OR DELAYED UP TO SEVERAL HOURS AFTER EXPOSURE AND
COULD INCLUDE CHEST TIGHTNESS,WHEEZING, COU GH OR ASTHMATIC ATTACK.
INGESTION:ABDOMINAL PAIN, NAUSEA, VOMITING, DIARRHEA.
Medical Cond Aggravated by Exposure:ASTHMA AND OTHER RESPIRATORY
AILMENTS; SKIN ALLERGIES AND ECZEMA; CHEMICAL SENSITIZATION.

First Aid

First Aid:EYES: FLUSH IMMEDIATELY WITH LOW PRESSURE LUKEWARM RUNNING
WATER FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES WHILE LIFTING EYELIDS. GET MEDICAL
HELP. SKIN CONTACT: REMOVE CONTAMINATED CLOTHING IMMEDIATELY. WASH
AFFECTE D AREAS THOROUGHLY WITH SOAP AND WATER. WASH CONTAMINATED
CLOTHING THOROUGHLY BEFORE REUSE. FOR SEVERE EXPOSURE, GET UNDER
SAFETY SHOWER AFTER REMOVING CLOTHING, THEN GET MEDICAL ATTENTION.
FOR LESS ER EXPOSURES, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION IF IRRITATION
DEVELOPS OR PERSISTS.

Accidental Release

Spill Release Procedures:EVACUATE ALL NON-ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL AND
REMOVE ALL SOURCES OF IGNITION (FLAMES, HOT SURFACES, ELECTRICAL,
STATIC AND FRICTIONAL SPARKS). VENTILATE AREA,EQUIP CLEAN UP CREW

Neutralizing Agent:AMMONIA SOLUTION (3-8%), DETERGENT (2%) & WATER
(90-95%) OR A SOLUTION OF UNION CARBIDE'S TERGITOL TMN-10 (20%).

Exposure Controls

Respiratory Protection:THE SURGEON GENERAL REQUIRES AIRLINE RESPIRATORS
TO BE USED UNLESS AIR SAMPLING SHOWS EXPOSURE TO BE BELOW OSHA
LIMITS. THEN EITHER AIR-PURIFYING CHEMICAL CARTRIDGE RESPIRATORS OR
AIRLINE RESPIRATORS ARE REQUIRED. AIR SAMPLING SHOULD BE DONE TO
MEASURE AAIRBORNE CONCENTRATIONS OF MONOMER & POLYMER HDI & ORGANIC
SOLVENTS.
Ventilation:DURING THE SPRAY APPLICATION OF THESE COATIONGS, THE USE OF
A SUPPLIED-AIR RESPIRATOR (EITHER POSITIVE PRESSURE OR CONTINUOUS
FLOW TYPE) IS MANDATORY
Protective Gloves:PERMEATION RESISTANT GLOVES.
